On behalf of the event agency Movendi, AMECKO designed and realized a stand for Unitymedia KabelBW that made a significant impact at ANGA COM in Cologne. With an eye-catching emotionalization concept and extraordinary architecture, Unitymedia KabelBW’s trade fair appearance became a special experience for trade visitors. In addition to the successful product presentation, many other conceptual details set impressive accents. The absolute highlight: the LED dance floor, which invited visitors to interact with various brand elements from the Horizon world.
Access to the exhibition stand was quickly found via the interactive Horizon dance floor. Using discreetly installed infrared cameras, the floor reacted immediately to the movements of stand visitors, translating them into artistically staged LED light swirls that would eventually settle. Two professional dancers delighted guests with show performances in CI-compliant costumes and encouraged them to participate.
To create different moods, alternative scenarios from the brand worlds of Unitymedia, KabelBW, and Horizon were programmed.
As a correlating highlight to the dance floor, the “flower flight”—derived from the client’s logo—hovered high above, visible from afar under the ceiling. Fiberglass rods covered with stretch fabric were used for the installation; these possessed a particular flexibility and were forced into the desired shape by the fabric. The tailoring was implemented seamlessly and with great delicacy.
The media technology used provided the perfect technical framework for the high-traffic Horizon frontal presentations by the UMKBW team. The unusually long counter, which curved in a semi-circle across the stand, created a very inviting, dialogue-oriented communication area for trade visitors. A generously equipped and shielded meeting room was available in the rear area for undisturbed conversations. Furthermore, a perfect infrastructure with storage space, kitchen, and technical areas was created within a very confined space.
